Six weeks from now, a writer is quoting your head brewer.

It starts with one message: the release date and what’s in the glass. We reply within one business day with the campaign we’d run — $450, $865 or $1,400 — and a start date that lands well ahead of your embargo.

Which side of the pitch are you on?

A PR desk hears from makers, writers and the trade. Same phone, same inbox — but the right subject line gets you to the right answer faster.

  1. You’ve got a launch

    Breweries · distilleries · cideries

New release, anniversary drop, first barrel program, taproom opening. Tell us the date and where it pours or ships, and we’ll come back with the campaign that fits and the price — no discovery-call maze.

  2. You’re on deadline

    Writers · editors · podcasters

Need a sample, a hi-res can shot, a tech sheet or twenty minutes with a head distiller for one of our clients? Say which brand and when you file. We route it straight to the maker the same day.

Subject line Sample / asset request — brand name Email the request
  3. You buy or distribute

    Distributors · retailers · trade

Seen a client in the trade press and want sell sheets or a buyer contact? We’ll pass you to the right person at the brewery, distillery or cidery — we don’t broker, we just make the intro clean.

Subject line Trade enquiry — brand name Email the desk
  4. You’re mid-campaign

    Current clients

Writer replied, sample went missing, embargo needs to move? Call the desk. Anything time-sensitive during a pitch run beats an email thread every time.

For the brief call

Have these on the table

None of it has to be polished. A phone photo of the tech sheet beats a perfect PDF next week — we’d rather start Monday.

  • The tech sheet

ABV or proof, IBU, grain or mash bill, fruit and varieties, barrel history.

  • Date + footprint

The release date and every state or market where it pours, ships or sits on shelf.

  • Three to six photos

Can or bottle, the people, the room it’s made in. No photos yet? Bring a photo budget instead.

  • The maker, 30 minutes

Head brewer, distiller or cidermaker. The best angle is almost always in how they talk about it.

  • Sample count

How many cans or bottles you can spare for writers, and whether they need a cold pack.

  • Past press

Anything already sent or published, so no writer gets the same story from you twice.

Got the date and half that list? That’s plenty to start.
